Following pick-up from your approved hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, escape the city and journey by comfortable Mercedes Sprinter to the start point of your kayak adventure into the Black Canyon. Arrive at Willow Beach and prepare for the day ahead as your guides help fit you into your kayaks.

Paddle upstream into the narrow channels of the Black Canyon, and scour the banks to spot a variety of wildlife, including native Desert Big Horn Sheep and Bald Eagles. Continue for approximately 1 mile, and then stop at an historical overlook for awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River.

Listen to an explanation about the immense history of what the river has been used for over the past 100 years. Enjoy a complimentary snack before setting off for the stunning rock formation of Emerald Cave on your way back to the starting point.

• You must be 12 years old or above to take part. Minors must be accompanied by a parent
• Pick-up will take place 1.5 to 2 hours before the tour start time. (Total duration with half day tour is 6 hours, round-trip with pick-up and drop-off from Las Vegas Strip)
• The less you bring is better as there are no lockers provided. It is recommended you protect any electronics from water. Drybags, waterproof phone cases, and other last-minute needs may be available for purchase at the office
• This tour requires some physical activity and is not recommended for people with limited mobility
• The shuttle service is only available at select designated hotels

Inside the Hoover Dam Lodge Hotel and Casino, 18000 US-93, Boulder City, NV 89005. This is 40 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
Pick-up is available from select Las Vegas Strip Hotels ( Golden Nugget, Stratosphere, SLS, Circus Circus, Encore, Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Aria, Flamingo, Paris, Excalibur, Mandalay Bay) or alternatively you can meet at the local operators office, free parking, located approximately 20-minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
