Learn how to create your own rug with a tufting gun and frame in Miami. Choose from a variety of yarn colors and take home a 30x32-inch rug that you made yourself.
Learn to create your own rug, wall hanging, coasters, etc. with the guidance of experienced teachers. We have all the tools and supplies you need to create your rug, including a tufting frame, tufting gun, and fabric and 13 colors of yarn.
Bring 2-3 designs to choose from. After viewing the yarn selection, if you would like to bring different colors of yarn, keep in mind that it requires two rolls of each color to thread the tufting gun. The yarn must be size 4. If one color takes up a large part of your design, bring more.
Dress comfortably and lightly as it is a bit of a workout.
Most students finish the same day and take their rugs home. However if you don’t finish you do have the option to book part 2: A “Rug Wrap Up” session which is every Thursday and is only $10. In part 2, put the finishing touches on your rug such as applying a rug backing, and trimming the visible surface of the rug.

NOT INCLUDED
- If you don’t finish instead of paying full price for another class the rug wrap up class is $10 on Thursdays (most people finish and take home their rugs the same day)
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
