Experience a guided group sanctuary visit. Gain insight into the rescue of endangered & exotic animals and help feed one rescued big cat or bear a portion of their daily diet. Guests 18+
Take your experience one step further with our Feed with a Keeper Experience. See what it's like to actively contribute to the rescue and safety of formerly abused and abandoned big cats and bears. An expert will take you on a 1.5-2 hour guided group visit of the sanctuary where you will learn about the rescued animals who call Lions Tigers & Bears home and along the way you will help feed one of the animals a portion of their daily diet. Not only is it an experience to cross off your bucket list, but it is also an opportunity to make a great difference in the lives of the rescued animals.
Throughout your guided visit you'll get to see lions, tigers and bears, of course, but also so much more!
You'll also get the opportunity to see:
• Bobcats
• Leopard
• African servals
• Mountain lion
• Jaguar
and even domestic animals like horses and llamas that have been adopted for protection.
-- Please Note: All participants for the Feeding with a Keeper Experience Must Be 18+ with valid ID -- For your safety and that of the animals, we enforce a strict no-contact policy, no hands-on animal interactions are offered. All the habitats have a secondary perimeter fence which prevents anyone from coming into direct contact with or within three feet of the animals.

• From San Diego, take the I-8 East to CA-79/Japatul Valley Road, Exit #40
• Turn right off of the ramp onto Japatul Valley Road
• Drive HALF A MILE down the Japatul Valley Road and turn left on Martin Way (Martin Way is the huge dirt road with the first set of mailboxes at the end of the cow pasture on your left-hand side)
---------- If you've gone a mile off the exit, you've gone too far! ---------
• Drive 0.5 miles up the dirt road until you see the Lions Tigers & Bears sign on your left-hand side
• Drive under the Lions Tigers & Bears sign into the parking lot
• If the gate is closed, call in at the call box
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
