Discover scenic Coronado Island on this Beach Cruiser Experience together with your local guide. Relax with the option to pedal your electric bike or simply glide along with your bike's powerful electric drive system as you take in the classic California coastal scenery.
Each of the beach cruisers has been handcrafted by your local guide, who served in the Navy at Coronado’s Naval Air Station and has a deep interest in Coronado’s rich history.
Visit areas of historical interest, like Hotel del Coronado, where your tour guide will share stories of Coronado’s past. Stop at the island’s most beautiful photo hotspots where you'll take complimentary photos of your group’s island adventure.
Inspired by the woody wagons of California’s surf culture, these handcrafted cruisers are classically finished in colorfully painted fiberglass, mahogany and white oak wood, and premium leathers and have built-in speakers playing lively beach tunes.

21+ unless with parent
Riders must have expert proficiency two-wheel bicycle riding skills; expert proficiency is described as those who ride bicycles regularly
These bikes are not recommended for novice riders or those who haven’t ridden a bicycle in years
Rider’s must be at least 21 years old unless accompanied by parent
This activity is not recommended for riders under 13 years old
Riders must be able to put both feet down while seated on the cruiser
This activity is not recommended for riders under 5’2” tall, or with shorter legs (28” inseam minimum)
Since the bikes weigh 90+ lbs (40 kilos), shorter riders have to lean the cruiser to one side when stopped; they may have difficulty supporting the weight of the cruiser, resulting in falls/injury
Tennis shoes or flat sandals are recommended; flip flops are okay, but any type of healed/dress shoe is not recommended
Skirts/dresses pose a serious safety risk and are not recommended on the bikes
During cooler months, bring extra layers
All required protective equipment is provided
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
Meet your guide at the Coronado Tidelands Park parking lot. Look for the colorful beach cruisers lined up for your tour next to the gray Chevrolet Tahoe with a white trailer.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
