Begin your adventure with a guided walk along a small trail to the summit of Little Black - Black Mountain Gliderport a 300-foot launch site nestled in San Diego’s open space park. Here, you’ll meet your certified instructor, who will introduce you to the basics of paragliding and prepare you for your first tandem flight. As you gear up, take in panoramic views stretching from the lush valley below to the sparkling Pacific Ocean on the horizon.

Depending on the wind conditions, your flight will either glide smoothly from the top to the bottom across the face of the hill, or, if the breeze is strong, you’ll catch thermals for a longer, more exhilarating ride. Enjoy the sensation of floating above the landscape, with opportunities to spot local wildlife and the unique terrain of this protected park. Your instructor will offer hands-on guidance, letting you try basic controls and giving you a true taste of the sport.

The experience concludes with a gentle landing at the base of the launch or in a designated landing area, leaving you free to explore the park further or return to your starting point.
