Ice skating on the frozen Inari Lake is an exhilarating activity that offers a unique and unforgettable experience. We say it is unique because it is the ONLY track on natural ice in the whole Lapland.
The duration of the activity is 2h at the ice track (including the equipment fitting time in the storage, so around 1.5h on the ice) and it does NOT include the pick-up and drop-off time (optional, 20€ per person).
In case you are a beginner, our guides will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time on the ice, regardless of your skill level. He/She will provide the necessary support and guidance to help you enjoy your time on ice, assist you in moving on the ice and offer tips to improve your technique, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable while you skating. There will be moments to catch amazing photos and make some videos for your memories.
If you are an experienced skater, our guide needs to be there anyway to provide you with the right skates size and explain you the rules of the track, and after that you will be skating on your own.
But don't worry if you're new to ice skating or if you haven't skated in a while. We are sure you will have a fantastic time, and make good memories together with us. Lace up your skates, embrace the adventure, and let the beauty of the ice skating take your breath away.
Ice skating on Inari lake includes:

1.5 hours of skating on the lake.

How should I be prepared for skating?
Please note that you will be active during ice skating and so do not wear all your warm layers, but bring them with you. Gloves and hats are a must.

2) FULL EXPERIENCE including TRANSFER (extra fee, pick up from Saariselkä and Ivalo)
The meeting point is a small parking on private land. It is very important to respect the neighbors, so NEVER knock at any door, simply wait for the guide to arrive or give us a call. Please follow the instructions provided and the signs at the location.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
