How the Muir Woods & Alcatraz Combo Package Works
Muir Woods Tour: Guests select either a 3-hour or 4-hour private Muir Woods tour, beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding at approximately 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM. The tour includes Golden Gate Bridge crossing, time inside Muir Woods National Monument, coastal viewpoints, Sausalito, and Marin Headlands photo stops.
Alcatraz Ferry Timing: If the Alcatraz ferry departs within 1 hour of the Muir Woods tour’s conclusion, guests are dropped off directly at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30–60 minutes before departure.
For ferry departures more than 1 hour later, participants are dropped off at PIER 39, where they may relax, dine, or explore before walking to Pier 33 for their ferry.
Alcatraz Tour: The Alcatraz Island visit typically lasts 2–3 hours. Guests explore independently, visiting the historic Cellhouse, learning about the island’s layered history, and enjoying panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge.
Return: Return transportation from Pier 33 is not included. The activity concludes once guests return from Alcatraz, allowing flexibility to continue exploring San Francisco on their own.

Alcatraz ferry departure times will be between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM depending on availability
Return transport from Pier 33 Alcatraz Dock to your hotel or other SF destination not included.
Your Alcatraz boarding tickets will be held at Will Call at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing).
Important: All guests must bring a valid ID, as the names on the tickets must match the reservation.
Arrival Time: Arrive at Pier 33 at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ferry departure to collect your tickets and board the ferry.
Where to Meet:
Your private Jeep Tour departs from 2870 Hyde Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 – at the corner of Hyde Street and Jefferson Street in Fisherman’s Wharf.
Arrive early to ensure you're at the correct location. We pick up on the Hyde Street side of the Argonaut Hotel in the White Zone passenger loading area.
Please do not wait in front of the hotel entrance on Jefferson Street.
Important: We no longer meet at Umbrella Alley on Beach Street.
Late arrivals and no-shows will forfeit their tour without a refund or reschedule.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
