Begin your adventure in the beautiful Herman Creek Cove. Get comfortable with your kayak and explore the crystal-clear waters as you paddle a gentle inlet of Herman Creek toward an old fish hatchery.
From there, head out onto the Columbia River, staying near the shore and letting the wind of the gorge push you to your next cove while soaking up the majesty of this amazing river. The wind will blow you down to Government Cove, where a private and secluded cove full of wildlife awaits.
Pause for a water and snack break on the shore and get a chance to watch the birds soar over the water. After some more exploring of beautiful Government Cove, paddle to shore and hop on a 5-minute shuttle back to where you started.

Participants should be able to walk about 100 yards through the woods
Look for the kayak sign that says Kayak the Gorge. That sign marks our driveway. Proceed between the rocks, down the driveway to the beach. We don't meet you at the brewery.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
