Then, you will continue walking for another 3km down to Lao Chai village. Stop at the village for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking through the rice terraces to Ta Van village of the Tay minority. This trek is relatively easy although the trail can be quite slippery if it rains. For that reason, good footwear is recommended.

8:00 – After breakfast, you will begin the second day of your adventure by exploring the villages which are located a little bit further to the Southwest of Sapa (around 4 km) including Cat village, the home of the Black H’mong people
This trek offers some stunning views of a picturesque waterfall and the vestige of a hydro-electric power station which was built in the early 20th century.
Here you can also watch the local villagers working on the paddy rice fields and the kids playing. Enjoy the opportunity to take close-up pictures of water-buffaloes, pot-bellied pigs, and chickens. Have lunch in the village at noon.

Later, you continue to hike for another 3km to Sin Chai village, situated at the base of Hoang Lien Son Mountain with Fansipan Peak, which is also known as the roof of Vietnam and Indochina. Enjoy the panoramic view of the village and have more photo opportunities before heading back to Sapa Town.
