Description

Journey from Da Nang/Hoi An to Hue for a full-day Small Group Tour, exploring the Imperial City, Emperor Khai Dinh’s tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the rich culture of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty.
Start your day with an early pickup from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, and get ready for a road trip you’ll never forget. As you wind your way along the famous Hai Van Pass, the views just keep getting better, misty mountains on one side, the sparkling coastline on the other. Make sure to have your camera ready for stops at Hai Van Peak, where the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Stretch your legs on the soft sands of Lang Co Beach, and take a moment to breathe in the calm at Lap An Lagoon, where the mountains reflect perfectly in the still water.

Once you arrive in Hue, you’ll head straight to the Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh. This isn’t just another historical site, it’s an incredible mix of Eastern and Western styles, with every detail telling a story about the Nguyen Dynasty. Wander through the grand staircases and mosaic-covered walls, and take your time soaking up the atmosphere that’s both regal and mysterious.

After exploring, it’s time to unwind. Enjoy a lunch of Hue’s signature dishes, each bite giving you a taste of the city’s rich culinary heritage.

The afternoon is all about discovering more of Hue’s royal past. Step inside the Imperial Citadel, where your guide will bring the stories of the Forbidden Purple City to life. Walk under ancient gates, through quiet courtyards, and imagine the days when emperors ruled from these very halls.

Before heading back, there’s one last stop: the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda by the Perfume River. It’s a peaceful, spiritual place, and a perfect spot to reflect on everything you’ve seen and learned. As the day winds down, you’ll travel back to your hotel in comfort, with new memories and a deeper appreciation for the history and beauty of central Vietnam.
