Description

Join a pottery workshop in Hoi An's Thanh Ha Pottery Village. Learn basic techniques from a local artisan, shape and decorate your own piece, and take it home the same day.
Meet at the entrance of Thanh Ha Pottery Village and head into the village to reach the workshop. Once there, get introduced to the basic techniques of working with clay and learn how to use the pottery wheel.

With support from the artisan instructor, start shaping your own item, such as a small cup, bowl, or keepsake, while getting a feel for the texture and movement of the clay. Once your piece has taken shape, continue by adding basic painting or glazing details to give it a personal finish.

During the workshop, the team can also help capture photos and videos so you have a record of the experience as well as the piece you made. A drink is included during the session to keep things comfortable and relaxed.

At the end of the workshop, take your item home the same day in air-dried and packed form. If you would prefer a fired piece, a firing and delivery option is available for an additional fee, with timing depending on the destination.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
