Immerse yourself in Chinese culture with a Hanfu or Qipao experience in Shanghai. Get your makeup and hair done, choose a location, and enjoy a professional photoshoot.
Step into the elegance of Chinese heritage with a Hanfu or Qipao transformation in the heart of Shanghai. Choose a beautifully crafted traditional outfit, enjoy professional makeup and hairstyling, and capture the moment with a photo shoot at one of the city’s most photogenic backdrops.
After arriving at the studio, you’ll select your preferred costume and receive expert styling tailored to your look. Your team will help refine the overall appearance so you feel comfortable, confident, and camera-ready before heading out.
Next, meet your photographer and travel to one shooting location of your choice: Yuyuan Garden, City God Temple, Style Street, or The Bund. You’ll be guided with easy posing tips throughout the session for natural, flattering photos. The experience ends at the shooting location, so you’re free to continue exploring the city afterward.
Shooting locations (choose 1):
1. City God Temple: A short walk from the studio. Lights out at 22:00. Tickets may be required during major holidays per official notice.
2. Yuyuan Garden: A short walk from the studio. Closed Mondays. Open 09:00–16:30 (last entry 16:00) on other days. Ticket: 40 CNY/person (subject to change).
3. Style Street: About 4 km from the studio (approx. 15 min by taxi/subway). Closes at 22:00. No ticket required.
4. The Bund: About 2 km from the studio (approx. 10 min by taxi/subway). Lights out at 23:00. No ticket required.

Public transportation is recommended due to busy Shanghai traffic
Arrive with a clean face; bringing your own facial primer is suggested

Guests with brightly colored hair may wish to use temporary black hair spray for styling
Guests with sensitive skin can bring their own cosmetics
Eyelash extensions are not recommended for makeup application
Removing dark nail polish is suggested to match traditional costumes
Please meet at Room E, 11th Floor, Building 1, Sun City Garden, Huangpu District, Shanghai. From Yuyuan Metro Station (Exit 3), it’s about a 360-meter walk. On arrival, press the intercom for 1105 and ring the bell for building access.
