Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Kitzbühel, Kirchberg, Reith, Aurach, Jochberg or St. Johann in Tirol. Your private tour guide drives you in a comfortable, air-conditioned car or minivan past the Hochkönig massif and through the Lammertal valley, sharing stories about the region along the way.
Stop at Lake Gosau for a short walk along the shore. Admire the Dachstein glacier reflected in the lake and take some photos. Then continue to Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage village.
Your guide walks you through Hallstatt: the Market Square, the lakeside lanes, the parish church and the classic postcard viewpoint, and tells you about 7,000 years of salt mining history.
