Discover Nansha Tin Hau Palace, a scenic coastal sanctuary dedicated to Mazu, the revered Chinese goddess of the sea. Choose the admission-only option and travel independently, or select the ticket with round-trip transfer for a more convenient visit.
Located on the southeastern slope of Dajiao Mountain, the temple overlooks the Lingding Sea and Pearl River estuary. Its setting brings together traditional architecture, spiritual heritage, green hills, and coastal scenery.
Begin at Tin Hau Square, where a striking 14.5-meter Mazu statue overlooks the waterfront. Made from 365 pieces of granite, the statue symbolizes protection and blessings throughout every day of the year.
Continue along the temple’s central axis to see the mountain gate, main hall, ceremonial halls, and courtyards. Admire the red walls, golden roofs, sweeping eaves, and traditional architecture set against the surrounding hills and sea.
Walk uphill toward Nanling Pagoda, a 45-meter landmark near one of the highest points in the scenic area. Although visitors cannot normally enter the pagoda, the viewing area near its base offers expansive views of the Lingding Sea, Pearl River estuary, passing ships, and, when visibility is good, the Humen Bridge.
On your way down, follow the hillside road or coastal boardwalk for a quieter walk among shaded paths and refreshing sea breezes. Depending on the areas open during your visit, you may also pass sites associated with Dajiao Mountain’s coastal-defense history.
Allow approximately 2–3 hours to explore the attraction. After your visit, travelers who selected the transfer option will meet the driver at the designated location for the return journey. Travelers who selected the admission-only option will leave the attraction independently.
