It is home to 12 species of protected amphibians, the common mouse frog (listed in the Red Book), the southern crested newt, the tree frog, the common pond turtle, the spiny-tailed turtle (listed in the World Red List).

Saevata Dupka - the name of the cave comes from two brothers - shepherds Suyu and Seyo, who discovered it by chance and used it as a shelter during the Ottoman rule. It is located close to the northern highway of Bulgaria, which connects the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia with our sea capital - Varna.
He is considered one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria. The largest stalactite in it has a circumference of 60 meters. The average temperature in the cave is 7 - 11 °C, humidity - between 90 and 98%. It is located at an altitude of 520 m above sea level. It is 205 meters long, and a river flows 70 meters underground in it. It is believed to be about 3 million years old.It is also unique with its colors - green, brown and white. There are stalactites, stalagmites, stalactites, helictites and dendrites.
