Led by a professional zoologist, you'll learn to read the hidden stories written in the forest floor. Every footprint, scratch mark, and dropping tells a story about the animals that passed through.
What you'll learn:
Identify tracks and signs of wolves, deer, wild boar, foxes, and bears
Read feeding signs and scratching trees
Measure and document findings using field tools
Record observations for real conservation databases
Depending on the season and group interest, you may also set up a trail camera or learn how conservationists use tracking data to protect wildlife.
The expedition takes place in the forests and mountains around Sofia - areas known for their rich wildlife populations. Your zoologist guide has years of field experience and will share their knowledge of animal behaviour, ecology, and conservation.
This is an active, educational day in the wilderness. Suitable for beginners - no prior experience needed, just curiosity and comfortable shoes.

The tour operates in most weather conditions. If extreme weather forces us to cancel, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
Minimum 3 people, maximum 6. If we cancel due to minimum participants not being met, you will receive a full refund. Rescheduling may be offered as an option.
Children under 14 welcome with an adult.
At the main entrance steps of St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, facing the square. The guide will be holding a sign with "Wildlife Tracking".
