[The Masterpiece of Aquatic Landscaping: Yangzhou's Slender West Lake]
Would you like to explore one of the most refined, poetic, and photogenic water gardens in China? Located in Yangzhou and historically linked to the Grand Canal (a World Heritage Site), Slender West Lake (瘦西湖) offers a unique visual experience. Unlike large open lakes, this garden stands out for its 4-kilometer-long meandering body of water, designed by wealthy merchants during the Qing Dynasty with an unparalleled "one step, one landscape" aesthetic.

[Opening Hours, Admission, and Operations]

Opening hours: The site is open from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

How to Enter: To enter quickly, simply show and scan the QR code that we will send you directly at the turnstiles.

[Main Features and Aesthetics of the Garden]

Five-Pavilion Bridge (Wuting Bridge): The ultimate symbol of Yangzhou. It has five pavilions on top and fifteen water arches underneath, where legend has it that each full moon casts a different reflection.

The White Dagoba: A Tibetan-style tower inspired by the one at Beijing's Beihai Temple, whose image next to the bridge is the city's most iconic postcard view.

The Fishing Terrace (Diaoyutai): A masterpiece of landscape framing; a pavilion with circular openings precisely aligned to frame the bridge in one circle and the White Dagoba in the other.

Twenty-Four Bridge: A stone bridge steeped in literary romanticism and immortalized by Tang Dynasty verses.

[Suggested Route (No Returns)]
To make the most of your day, we recommend entering through the South Gate and exiting through the North Gate (which allows you to easily continue on to the historic Daming Temple):
South Gate — Willow Embankment — Xuyuan Garden — Xiaojinshan Hill — Fishing Terrace — Five-Pavilion Bridge — White Dagoba — Xichun Pavilion — Twenty-Four Bridge — Exit through the North Gate.

[Online Remote Support]
Although your visit is 100% independent and self-guided, our human support team will be available via chat at all times to assist you with any questions about using your QR code or finding your way around the gardens.
