Departure from the historic old town of Mantua, from the B1 Navi Andes pier on Lago di Mezzo, right in front of the Castle of St. George (San Giorgio).
The tour begins by sailing on Lake Mezzo and then on Lake Inferiore, offering breathtaking views of the Reggia dei Gonzaga, which is majestically reflected on the water. The boat then enters the Vallazza wetland, a delicate and fascinating environment protected by the WWF, where nature is the star: water chestnuts, water lilies, herons, coypus, squacco herons and egrets accompany the route in an enchanted atmosphere.
During the journey, the on-board guide will entertain you with stories and anecdotes about the history, fauna, and ecosystem of the area. The highlight is the experience of the water lift, a modern Vincian lock that uses the principle of communicating vessels to connect the different water levels, allowing access to the canal that runs parallel to the Po. In the event of maintenance on the water lift, the route will not change in duration and will proceed directly into the Mincio River.
The tour concludes with a return to Mantua, to the original departure point, after a unique experience combining nature, history and engineering.
