Description

Experience your dream trip to Armenia on this 5-day tour. Discover ancient UNESCO sites, see Mount Ararat, visit the world's oldest winery, and explore the "blue pearl" of Lake Sevan.
Armenia is more than a destination; it is a living history where every stone tells a story. Over 5 days, immerse yourself in an ancient civilization, from high-altitude lakes to monasteries perched on mountain cliffs. Experience the legendary hospitality and breathtaking landscapes of a country where the past meets the present.

Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan
Your journey begins with a professional meet-and-greet at the airport. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Yerevan. After check-in, take time to relax and prepare for your Armenian adventure.

Day 2: Yerevan City Tour, Garni, and Geghard
Start with a guided tour of Yerevan’s unique architecture. Visit the Cascade Complex, a massive limestone stairway featuring the Cafesjian Center for the Arts and panoramic city views. Travel to the 1st-century Pagan Temple of Garni, dedicated to the sun god Mihr. Descend into the canyon to see the "Symphony of Stones," stunning natural basalt columns. End the day at the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, a complex partially carved into the surrounding rocks.

Day 3: Khor Virap, Noravank, and Areni Cave
Visit Khor Virap, the iconic monastery at the foot of Mount Ararat, offering the closest possible views of the mountain. Continue to Noravank, a 13th-century masterpiece located in a narrow gorge of red rocks. Finally, explore the Areni-1 "Bird’s Cave," where archaeologists discovered the world’s oldest leather shoe and a 6,000-year-old winery.

Day 4: Levon’s Underground, Lake Sevan, and Dilijan
Discover the unique "Divine Underground" in Arinj, a hand-carved cave system created by a single man over 23 years. Head to Lake Sevan, the "blue pearl" of the Caucasus, to visit the 9th-century Sevanavank Monastery on the peninsula. Continue to the lush forests of Dilijan, often called "Armenian Switzerland," to walk through the historic Sharambeyan Street and visit the hidden Haghartsin Monastery.

Day 5: Departure
Enjoy your final Armenian breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy free time in Yerevan for souvenir shopping at the Vernissage market before your transfer to the airport.
