Although the abbey itself is not open to visitors, stop at Café In de Vrede, located opposite the abbey. Taste Westvleteren beer when available, discover local products, and purchase souvenirs.

Continue to Ypres, one of the most moving historical cities in Belgium. First, visit the öl bar in Ypres where you can have a beer not from the tap but straight from the tank. The bar features 8 large 500-liter beer tanks and an impressive selection of beers on tap, including many local and regional favorites such as Wipers Times and Hommelbier. Enjoy fresh, perfectly poured beer in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

After some free time, attend the famous Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate, held every evening at 20:00 to honor the soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War. This solemn and emotional ceremony is one of the most meaningful moments of the day.

Afterward, relax on the return journey to Brussels while enjoying a Belgian cheese and charcuterie platter on board. Belgian beers and other drinks are also available during the trip.
