Depart from Chachapoyas and travel to the picturesque village of Cocachimba, the gateway to Gocta. Before beginning the hike, stop at a local restaurant to pre-order your lunch.
Follow a scenic trail through lush cloud forest filled with native vegetation and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the surrounding valley. Along the way, enjoy several opportunities to rest and appreciate the incredible landscapes as you approach one of the tallest waterfalls in the world.
