Discover the beauty of Armenia and Azerbaijan on a day trip from Tbilisi. Visit the Akhtala Monastery, the Haghpat Monastery, and the Sanahin Monastery.
Begin your tour at the Akhtala Monastery, a 12th-century church adorned with beautiful frescoes. Explore the surrounding copper smelting caves and factory, adding a unique historical context to your visit.
The first stop will be Sadakhlo
Next, head to the Haghpat Monastery, a UNESCO-listed site located in Haghpat Village. Marvel at one of Armenia’s most beautiful medieval masterpieces before stopping for lunch to savor traditional Armenian dishes.
After lunch, make your way to the second UNESCO Heritage Site, Sanahin. On the way, stop at a 13th-century bridge, enjoy breathtaking views of the Debed Canyon, and visit the Mikoyan Brothers' Museum, where an original MiG 21 aircraft awaits.
