Highlights range from Upper Paleolithic bone remains from the Cirella caves to a Roman-Imperial oinophoros (3rd century AD) discovered in Cosenza.Among the most representative sections is the collection of grave goods from a large necropolis at Torre Mordillo (Spezzano Albanese), linked to a protohistoric settlement overlooking the Sibari plain. Here you can see ceramic containers in many forms—bowls, cups, jars, askoi, and vases—alongside numerous bronze objects such as fibulae, razors, discs, necklaces, axes, spearheads, and knives. Together, these artifacts reveal daily life, craftsmanship, and beliefs across centuries of Calabria’s history.
