Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Cape Town, setting off on your journey to the Aquila game reserve about 2 hours drive with an accredited and experienced chauffeur tour guide
Leaving the city behind, you’ll pass through the scenic wine country of Stellenbosch, with its charming vineyards and mountain views. The drive then winds through the breathtaking Du Toitskloof Pass, offering panoramic views of rugged peaks and valleys.

In the Breede Valley, we’ll pause for a short comfort break, refreshment a chance to stretch your legs, grab a coffee, and enjoy the fresh country air. Continuing on, we’ll stop at De Doorns for a photo opportunity overlooking the picturesque wine estates of the Hex River Valley, famous for its lush vineyards and colourful seasonal landscapes.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Aquila Private Game Reserve, greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, coffee and light snacks. As the golden light of sunset paints the landscape, your safari game drive begins.

Traverse the reserve in an open 4x4 with an expert Ranger and guide, spotting iconic African wildlife such as elephants, lions, Rhinoceros, buffalo, giraffes, and more all set against the dramatic backdrop of the Karoo mountains.

After the safari, we will about 30 minutes relaxjng around before driving back to cape town taking in the fading light over the countryside as we drive back to Cape Town, capping off a day filled with beauty, wildlife, and unforgettable moments.
