Cape Town: the Mountain, the Garden and the Vineyard

Half a day (6 hours) in the open air to visit three icons of Cape Town: Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, and the historic Groot Constantia Wine Estate.

We start with Table Mountain. The cable car climbs in just a few minutes to the summit, more than a thousand meters above sea level, where there is a breathtaking view of Cape Town. At the top, you can walk around with ease, with stops for photos and to talk about the geology and history of the mountain.

We then descend to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, nestled against the eastern face of the mountain. The tour focuses mainly on South African native plants, i.e. the entire world of fynbos and proteas, one of the six floristic kingdoms on the planet.

You then reach the Constantia Valley and Groot Constantia Estate, the oldest winery in South Africa, founded in 1685. Here, you can visit the museum in the Cape Dutch-style manor house, taste wines and stroll through the vineyards on the slopes of Table Mountain.

The tour concludes with a carefully prepared lunch at a restaurant in the Constantia Valley. The restaurant and food are tailored to the tastes and dietary requirements of the participants

The group is private and does not exceed 6 people: no buses, no megaphones, time for questions, and a pace that can be adapted to the day.
