Description
A full day among the mountain range, fields of tulips in bloom, and waterfalls.
Patagonia is bursting with color only in October. We'll leave Bariloche for Trevelin, in Chubut, to visit a field of thousands of tulips with snow-capped mountains as a backdrop, a unique landscape in Argentina.
We'll pick you up from your downtown hotel and drive along Route 40 next to the Andes Mountains. We'll stop in El Bolsón for breakfast and then continue on to Trevelin, the "Mill Village" in Welsh. There, we'll have free time at the Tulip Field to stroll among the flowers and take pictures. Next, we'll visit the Nant and Fall Waterfalls, seven cascades in the forest, four of which can be seen from the walkways.
It's a long day, about 15 hours, designed for those who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the history and nature of the area.
