Throughout its nearly thousand-year existence, Grand Place, Brussels has played a central economic, political, and symbolic role in the development of the city, and it still holds a special place in the hearts of its inhabitants.
In just under an hour, you will discover how this one and a half hectares of the city center began by feeding the stomachs of the people of Brussels, and then fueled their ambitions, which sometimes went to their heads, until they lost it.
In a small group of 15 people, your live guide will lead you in the footsteps of the builders. You will learn to recognize the symbols that adorn its rich facades while learning a little about the lives of those who lived behind them.
