During the route, you'll cross the Atlantic Forest, climb steep stretches, and face the famous "Carrasqueira," a high-difficulty rock wall that requires rope support and the use of climbing equipment. After this challenge, the trail continues to the summit of Pedra da Gávea, about 844 meters high, where the panoramic view reveals beaches, mountains, the city, the sea, and much of Rio.
