1-Day Salt Flats, Giant Cacti & Sunset Adventure

Discover the incredible landscapes of Uyuni on a full-day 4x4 adventure across the world’s largest salt flat. Explore historic landmarks, local traditions, giant cacti, and endless white scenery before finishing the experience with a spectacular sunset.

Pickup & Tour Preparation

Pickup is coordinated one day before the tour. We offer pickup from hotels within Uyuni city, the Uyuni Bus Station, Todo Turismo office, and Uyuni Airport.

For buses arriving between 6:00–8:00 AM, please provide your bus company and arrival time. Todo Turismo pickup is between 7:00–8:00 AM. For flights arriving between 8:00–10:00 AM, provide your flight number and arrival time. Hotel pickup is at approximately 10:00 AM.

Depending on your arrival time, our staff may take you to a nearby café where you can relax or have breakfast on your own. Later, continue to our office for check-in and tour preparation.

Tour Departure – 10:30 AM

Depart Uyuni aboard a shared 4x4 vehicle and begin your adventure at the historic Train Cemetery. Continue to Colchani, a traditional community at the entrance to the salt flats, where you can discover local salt processing and browse handicrafts.

Enter the immense Uyuni Salt Flats and explore the Saltwater Eyes, Playa Blanca, the former Salt Hotel Museum, Dakar Monument, and Flags of the World. Enjoy lunch surrounded by the spectacular white landscape.

Continue to Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant centuries-old cacti and panoramic views across the Salar. Take time to explore the island before heading back onto the open salt flats.

Creative Photos & Sunset

Have fun creating Uyuni’s famous perspective and optical illusion photos with help from your guide. As the afternoon comes to an end, enjoy a spectacular sunset over the salt flats accompanied by a light snack and a glass of wine.

Return to Uyuni at approximately 7:30 PM, where your full-day adventure comes to an end.
