Guided by a professional percussionist, Borispercus, you will discover the history, energy, and sound secrets of the Bèlè drum and other traditional instruments. Whether you're a complete beginner or a music enthusiast, this immersive experience is designed to perfectly adapt to your pace.
Experience schedule (1.5 to 2 hours):
- Welcome & Discovery: Presentation of the instruments, their cultural origins, and getting to grips with your drum.
- Drumming techniques: Fun learning of the basic sounds (bass, open, slap) to master the instrument with ease.
- Practice & Poly-rhythm: Immediate practice by playing your first grooves and traditional rhythms (Bèlè, Congo, Afro-Caribbean refrains).
- Jam & Immersion Time: Guided improvisation session where you will play as a duo with your instructor to feel the power of the rhythm live and film for those who want to leave with a video souvenir.

No musical experience required: The workshop is fully adapted for both absolute beginners and experienced musicians.
Taking photos and videos: You are free to take photos and videos during the session to keep as souvenirs.
Arrival: Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the session to begin on time.
