The humpback whale season has already begun, and with it the privilege of being able to observe one of the largest cetaceans in the world up close.
From June to August, these impressive marine mammals leave Antarctica and pass close to the coast of Rio de Janeiro, more precisely near the Cagarras Islands archipelago, in search of warmer waters.
Velas Do Rio invites you to this unforgettable experience aboard the modern and comfortable catamaran with
All Inclusive service and an onboard biologist.
We will depart early in the morning to take advantage of the ideal viewing conditions with calm seas and little wind.
After leaving the Marina, we will sail towards the Cagarras Islands Natural Monument, MONA Cagarras, a protected marine life sanctuary off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, to watch the whales. We will sail around these incredible islands for approximately 2.5 hours

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
The boat departs from the Marina da Glória. It is the only marina in Rio de Janeiro.
The meeting point is in front of Pier A0, next to a security guardhouse and a "Triumph" motorcycle shop.
