Description

Head from Belém to Soure, on Marajó Island, for a cultural city tour, a visit to local workshops, Praia da Barra Velha, and a carimbó night. An authentic experience with a return to Belém.
Experience Itinerary – Soure, Marajó Island

Start of the day
We'll leave Belém at 6:30/8:00 am, heading to Soure (Ilha do Marajó).
You'll arrive around 9:00 a.m./11:00 a.m.

Soure City Tour

Guided tour of the city's main cultural and historical sites, including:
Soure Municipal Market
Main Church
Mounted Police (visits available on weekends)
Marajó Leather Art Tannery
Mangue Marajó Art Studio
After the city tour, we'll head to Barra Velha Beach, where you'll have free time for a swim and lunch (optional, not included).

Check-in and Free Time

Check-in at the inn at 4:00 PM.
Free time for rest or individual activities.

Cultural Night – Carimbó

At 8:00 pm, we'll head out for a cultural experience with the traditional carimbó, a typical rhythm of Pará, held daily in Soure.
We'll head back at the end of the show.

Return
We'll leave the Soure Terminal at 5:30 am, heading back to Belém.

You'll meet your guide only after disembarking in Soure, Marajó.

You need to arrive at the departure point early.
Where to meet: The meeting point will be at the Soure Waterway Terminal, in an easy-to-see spot inside the terminal. How to recognize the guide: The guide will be in uniform with a Marajó Búfalo Tur shirt and badge, and will carry a sign with the clients' names, making it easy to identify them upon arrival.
