The Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France are a major summer event held every year in Old Quebec. They take visitors back to the 17th and 18th centuries, the era of New France. For several days, the streets are transformed into a true historical setting where period costumes, traditional music, street entertainment, and markets inspired by the past come together.
You can learn about the way of life of the settlers, soldiers, and First Nations through re-enactments, shows, and interactive activities. The event highlights Quebec's heritage, history, and culture in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
