The park is gifted with a 120 km mountainous massif incorporating a network of multifunctional trails (hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing). Numerous shelters and rustic camping sites allow hikers to extend their stay. Crossed by a magnificent river, the Ouareau Forest highlights numerous wilderness lakes and a climbing wall recognized and managed by the Fédération québécoise de la montagne et de l’escalade (FQME).
