Viña del Mar: Discover the Garden City on foot and visit its museums
Start your tour next to the Parish of Viña del Mar, where you'll see the Church of Los Dolores and discover how the Garden City was born and evolved, as well as the history of the traditional Club de Viña del Mar. Then you'll walk to Quinta Vergara, the green lung of the city, where you'll visit the Museum of Fine Arts, located in the historic Palacio Vergara, and see the famous stage of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, the most important Latin music festival in the world.
The experience continues at the iconic Flower Clock, one of the most photographed icons in Chile. Then, you'll walk along Avenida Marina to admire the picturesque Castillo Wulff, built on the rocks facing the Pacific Ocean, and the Presidential Palace of Cerro Castillo, the vacation residence of the presidents of Chile. You'll stop at the historic Casino de Viña del Mar, a perfect place to take pictures and enjoy its elegant architecture.
Later, you'll visit the Fonck Museum, where you can see an authentic moai from Rapa Nui and learn about the culture of Easter Island. Finally, you will tour the Palacio Rioja Museum of Decorative Arts, an elegant mansion that will give you an insight into the lifestyle and customs of the Chilean upper class at the beginning of the 20th century.
