Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in a comfortable 9-seat minivan. As you travel to the Longji Rice Terraces, listen to your driver, who is also a certified guide, share fascinating insights into local customs, natural scenery, and human geography.

Arrive at the ticket office of the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area and purchase your entrance tickets. the entrance tickets are not included. Then, drive to the Yao ethnic minority village of Huangluo Yao, home to more than 70 families. Explore the rustic ethnic minority houses and wooden stilted dwellings built against the mountains.

This village is also known as "Long Hair Village" because the women's long hair averages 1.2 to 1.8 meters in length. Every day at 11:00 am, there is a 40‑minute long hair performance. If some members of your group are interested, they may buy tickets on their own to watch the show. Those who prefer not to watch can buy a cup of coffee and wait nearby or just walk around in village to visit wind-rain corrridor bridge until the others finish the show, and then proceed to the terraces together. If the entire group decides not to watch the show, go directly to the terraces.

It takes about 20 minutes to reach the rice terraces. The Longji Rice Terraces are named for their shape, which resembles a dragon's backbone, winding through the villages. Layer upon layer of terraces rise dramatically — sometimes like “nine dragons and five tigers” coiled around the village, sometimes like “seven stars accompanying the half moon.” At this point, your driver/guide will show you to hikie rice terraces, The hike will take about 2‑3 hours.

After gathering, if everyone wishes to have a meal, your driver will wait for you to finish eating. Then drive back to your hotel, arriving at around 5:00 pm.
