Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Zhangjiajie. Head to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway and ascend to the summit on the world’s longest mountain sightseeing cableway.
Once at the top, explore Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Walk along the Ghost Valley Plank Road and the Glass Skywalk (shoe covers included). Ride the world’s longest escalator through the mountain and experience the Tianmen Cave (closed in winter due to ice). Enjoy free time for photos along the way.
After your visit, take the cableway back down the mountain. Next, visit the Tujia Folk Custom Park, an ancient Tusi royal city nestled against Tianmen Mountain. Admire the ornate architecture, including the Baishou Hall, Tujia Mountain Village, and Houwang Palace, which are representative works of Tujia style.
Finally, relax on the return journey to your hotel in Zhangjiajie.
