Day 1: Journey into Art and History.
Your Fuchun River adventure begins with a pickup from your downtown Shanghai hotel. Take a high-speed bullet train to the Fuchun River region (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a simple local lunch before starting your 7km trek along the Maling Ancient Path.
First established in the Song Dynasty as a key trade route between Zhejiang and Fujian, the Maling Path was later expanded by Ming and Qing merchants into a major stone-paved highway. Beyond its commercial history, the trail is steeped in artistry; it is here that Huang Gongwang, the legendary Yuan Dynasty painter, lived in seclusion to create his world-renowned scroll, Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains. Throughout the journey, a professional guide will accompany you, bringing the scenery to life with captivating cultural stories. After the hike, check into your hotel and enjoy the local night view at your leisure.
Day 2: Mirrored Waters and Scenic Cruises.
Continue your adventure on day two with a final 5km stretch of the trail. Then, board a river cruise to witness the Fuchun River in all its glory.
