During the festival season, dragon boat races take place along the canals, offering an exciting chance to watch this traditional sport up close. Your guide will explain the meaning behind the races, the rituals involved, and the cultural significance of the festival.

The journey continues to Renwei Temple, a historic Taoist temple closely connected to local festival activities and community beliefs. You will learn how religion, folklore, and seasonal traditions are woven into daily life in this part of Guangzhou.

Around midday, you will enjoy a traditional Dragon Boat Festival village meal, known as “dragon boat rice.” This communal feast is an important part of the celebration and reflects the spirit of unity among local residents.
The exact lunch time is arranged according to the village’s Dragon Boat Festival schedule.

In the afternoon, you will visit Liwan Lake Park, a scenic green space surrounded by Lingnan-style architecture. Depending on the day’s local arrangements.

A second light meal or refreshment break is included later in the day. After the festival experience, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guangzhou.
