Begin your day with a comfortable drive from your downtown Zhangjiajie hotel to Guzhang Red Stone Forest National Geopark. Next, drive to Furong Town, a well-preserved ancient Tujia town with a history of more than 2,000 years. Known as the “Famous Waterfall Town in Western Hunan,” it is built against mountains and rivers, with a grand cascading waterfall running through the core of the ancient town.

At 4:00 PM, watch the immersive live show “Blossoming Furong: Carnival of Bizka” at the Hand-waving Dance Hall of Furong Town.

This large-scale original ethnic custom performance takes the ancient town’s mountains, waters, and streets as its natural stage. It integrates 13 national intangible cultural heritages, including Tujia Maogusi dance, Tima sacred songs, and bell dance. Through immersive and roaming viewing modes, it vividly reproduces the 800-year history of the Tusi Dynasty and the simple and bold ethnic customs of the Tujia people, presenting a magnificent Tujia cultural feast.

After the performance, drive back to Zhangjiajie urban area.
