Meet your host at Magongnaru Station and begin with a pleasant introduction to Seoul Botanic Park. Walk through its open green spaces and lakeside area while learning about the development of Magok and the everyday lifestyle of Seoul residents.

Continue on foot for approximately 2.2 kilometres toward Magok Wharf. The route gives you time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs and have a natural conversation with your host and fellow travelers. Along the way, stop at several scenic photo spots offering views of the Hangang River, its bridges and, on clear days, the impressive peaks of Bukhansan National Park.

At Magok Wharf, board Seoul’s Hangang Bus for a scenic journey to Yeouido. Unlike a conventional sightseeing cruise, the Hangang Bus is part of Seoul’s public transportation system. Relax inside or enjoy the views as Seoul’s bridges, riverside parks and skyline pass by.

After arriving in Yeouido, experience a favorite local tradition: preparing Korean instant ramen and enjoying it beside the Han River. Your host will explain how to use the self-service ramen machine and help you choose from the available flavors.

Continue through Yeouido Hangang Park and Yeouido Park while learning about the Han River, Korean leisure culture and the transformation of Yeouido into Seoul’s financial and political center.

Conclude near Gangbyeon Seojae, a peaceful book café located beside the National Assembly grounds. After saying goodbye to your host, you may enter the café, purchase a drink and continue enjoying its books and relaxing river view at your own pace.

Seoul is known for its convenient public transportation. From the finishing point, you can walk to National Assembly Station on Subway Line 9 and easily continue to your hotel or next destination.
