Description

Explore the scenic coast on a quad or buggy tour. Visit the shipwreck, sea caves, and Akamas Reserve. Swim at Lara Turtle Conservation Station and enjoy a lunch break at Lara Bay.
Begin your adventure with a safety briefing and gear up with helmets, goggles, and protective masks. Then, set off along the beautiful coast, starting at the famous Coral Beach of Pegeia.

Head towards the shipwreck and the sea caves with spectacular rock formations. See the EDRO III, a ship with the Sierra Leone flag, which was wrecked on the 8th Sept 2011 while on a trip from Sierra Leone to Rhodes.

Next, stop at St George’s Harbour, featuring archeological discoveries, catacombs, scenic marinas, and spectacular views. Continue onto Akamas Reserve to explore the turtle nesting areas, where you can take a dip at Lara Turtle Conservation Station.

Finally, arrive at Lara Bay. Stop at a small café between the mountains and the sea for lunch and refreshments. For those looking to get a golden glow during their vacation, enjoy plenty of time to swim and relax in the shade or under the sun.

Minimum driver’s age is 18y/o. No older than 70y/o.
The minimum passenger’s age for quad bikes is 12y/o. No minimum passenger age for buggies.
All drivers are required to bring their driving license with them the day of the tour.
Meeting Point The meeting point depends on how you arrive. By bus: Please search for “Golden Ride Rentals & Safari” on Google Maps. Take bus route 615 and get off at Blazing Saddles Pub. The activity provider’s shop is directly opposite the pub. By car or taxi: Please search for “Golden Ride Quad and Buggy Safari” on Google Maps and come directly to this location, where the tour starts. Our staff will be waiting at the location to welcome and assist you.
