The successful show format of the 90s is back: RTL and Prime Video are bringing back the successful RTL show under the title "Gladiators – Die Show der Giganten". At the beginning of 2026, production of new episodes of the legendary game show will start at Messe Düsseldorf.
"Gladiators – Die Show der Giganten" is an entertaining competition show that features a mix of spectacular and exciting contests inspired by classic gladiator fights. The participants compete in various games against each other and against a team of professional athletes, the so-called gladiators (mostly professional bodybuilders or strength athletes). The show was already on RTL from 1992 to 1994 under the title "American Gladiators."
