Discover France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg on a 7-day tour from Paris. Explore iconic landmarks, enjoy free time to shop, and visit charming cities like Cologne and Amsterdam.
Day 1: Paris & Versailles
Begin in Paris with a complimentary one-hour city walk accompanied by a local tour guide. Visit the Arc de Triomphe, stroll along the Champs-Élysées, and continue to Place de la Concorde, Napoleon’s Tomb, and Hôtel des Invalides. See Notre-Dame Cathedral and stop for photos at the Eiffel Tower.
Enjoy lunch at your own expense near the Eiffel Tower before traveling to Versailles in the afternoon to visit the Palace of Versailles. Return to Paris after the visit. Admission to the Palace of Versailles is not included.
Day 2: Paris
Head to the Seine River in the morning, where a sightseeing cruise is available at your own expense. Continue to the Louvre Museum to see its famous collections, including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace. Louvre admission is not included.
In the afternoon, continue to Paris’s central shopping area for free time. Optional evening activities and meals are available at your own expense.
Day 3: Reims & Luxembourg
Leave Paris and travel to Reims, known for its Champagne heritage and its historic role in the coronation of French kings. Visit Reims Cathedral before continuing to Luxembourg. Explore sights including Adolf Bridge, the Great Canyon, and Constitution Square.
Day 4: Trier, Koblenz, Rüdesheim & Frankfurt
Travel to Trier, one of Germany’s oldest cities, and visit Karl Marx’s House and the Black Gate Fortress. Continue to Koblenz to see Deutsches Eck at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
Travel to Rüdesheim am Rhein and enjoy time in this picturesque Rhine Valley town.
An optional Rhine River cruise may be available during the summer season at additional cost, subject to the boat schedule and operating conditions. Participation is entirely optional and is not required to complete the tour. Guests who do not join the cruise will have free time in Rüdesheim instead.
Continue to Frankfurt and visit Römerberg and St. Paul’s Church.
Day 5: Bonn, Cologne & Amsterdam
Depart Frankfurt for Bonn, where the itinerary includes Beethoven’s House and the University of Bonn. Continue to Cologne to see Cologne Cathedral and spend time around the nearby shopping streets. In the afternoon, travel onward to the Netherlands.
Day 6: Amsterdam & Zaanse Schans
Visit Zaanse Schans, where the itinerary includes a traditional clog factory and cheese factory. Return to Amsterdam and visit Dam Square, the Royal Palace, and Heroes’ Memorial. An Amsterdam Canal Cruise is available at your own expense.
The itinerary also includes a visit to a local diamond factory. During the annual opening period, Keukenhof may also be visited with advance booking; admission is not included.
Day 7: Brussels & Paris
Travel from Amsterdam to Brussels. Stop for photos at the Atomium before exploring the Gothic Town Hall, Grand Place, and Manneken Pis. After the Brussels itinerary, travel back to Paris to complete the 7-day loop journey.
