Discover Santa Fe Island on a day trip from Puerto Ayora. Snorkel with sea lions, see the endemic Santa Fe land iguana, and explore a cactus forest with a naturalist guide.
Begin your adventure in a meeting point in Puerto Ayora and head to the dock. Board the boat and enjoy a briefing and coffee as you cruise for about 2 hours to Santa Fe.
Make a wet landing on the sea lion beach and take a guided walk to the cactus forest and iguana area. Look for the endemic Santa Fe land iguana, seen only on this island, as well as Galápagos hawks, mockingbirds, and Darwin's finches.
After the walk, return to the beach for a short rest or swim. Then, snorkel in the bay with sea lions and reef fish. Enjoy lunch on board before an optional second snorkel or coastal cruise.
Begin the return crossing and arrive back in Puerto Ayora.
