Mindo is an amazing place for birdwatching with several options with feeders where you can see beautiful and unique birds and as a complement a really tasty chocolate or coffee tour.
The town of Mindo, just 1 hour and a half from Quito, is an amazing birdwatching destination with over 500 species. Visit several feeders where you can see beautiful and unique birds, including hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans, seedeaters, and many others.

After walking to the waterfalls, enjoy a really tasty chocolate or coffee tour featuring Ecuadorian products. If you like adrenaline, try extreme sports such as canopy, rappelling, tubing, or the Tarzan swing.

Alternatively, ride a cable car to see the canopy of the Chocó Forest.
