Quito is best experienced by walking, tasting, and sharing.
This experience combines the heritage of the Historic Center with some of the flavors and traditions that are part of everyday life in the city.
The tour begins at the Basilica del Voto Nacional and continues to Plaza del Teatro, before reaching the Central Market, a place full of colors, aromas, and products that are part of Quito's gastronomy. There, you can try local seasonal fruits and get to know the locals in an authentic way.
The experience continues with a tasting of the famous canelazo, a traditional drink from the Ecuadorian Andes, followed by a hands-on experience making traditional empanadas.
Next, the tour takes us through some of Quito's most iconic squares, from Plaza Grande to San Francisco, passing by historic sites and churches that help us understand the identity of this World Heritage City.
