Designed for children ages 0-8, this museum is a haven where imaginations run wild and curiosity is encouraged at every turn. With your general admission ticket, you and your child can roam freely through interactive exhibition spaces, participate in daily programs, and enjoy sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Start your visit with a stroll through the museum’s creative zones, including the Art Studios, where little hands can experiment with color and texture. Move on to the outdoor Lookout Cove, a sprawling play area featuring tide pools, climbing structures, and shipwrecks to explore. Indoors, discover STEM-inspired exhibits like the Bay Hall, where kids can pretend to be captains or engineers, and the Tot Spot, a sensory-rich environment for the youngest visitors.

The Bean Sprouts Café is open Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00AM – 3:30PM. You’re welcome to eat and drink in the café and in the designated areas outside.
Discovery for every body! At the museum, every exhibit, dining area, and restroom can be accessed by a wheelchair. If you need to borrow a wheelchair, we have one available on a first-come, first-served basis.
