Day 1: Addis Ababa – Bale Mountains National Park
Drive through the Great Rift Valley to Bale Mountains National Park. Explore Dinsho, home to endemic wildlife including the Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, warthogs, and numerous bird species. Continue into the mountains for a memorable camping experience surrounded by stunning alpine scenery.
Day 2: Ethiopian Wolf Trekking & Sanetti Plateau
Enjoy a full-day wildlife safari and trekking excursion across the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, one of Africa’s highest Afro-alpine ecosystems. Search for the rare Ethiopian Wolf, giant mole-rats, klipspringers, rock hyraxes, and endemic birdlife while enjoying breathtaking mountain views.
Day 3: Bale Mountains – Hawassa
Drive to Hawassa through Ethiopia’s beautiful southern highlands. Visit Amora Gedel Park to spot monkeys and birdlife before taking a relaxing boat trip on Lake Hawassa, offering opportunities to observe hippopotamuses and aquatic birds.
Day 4: Hawassa – Sidama Village – Dorze – Arba Minch
