Begin inside Fort Santiago to examine battle scars on stone walls and learn about civilians and prisoners held in the dungeons. Walk to Plaza Roma and view the lit facade of Manila Cathedral, learning how thousands of refugees sought shelter here during the siege.
Continue to the Memorare Manila 1945 Memorial for a one-minute silent tribute to civilian victims.
